西方民族主义理论研究述评--基于西方经典作家的文献梳理与回顾

摘　　要：民族主义是近代以来国际政治格局中不可忽视的一种政治现象和社会力量。西方经典作家关于民主主义的研究成果颇为丰富,其中典型代表有埃里·凯杜里、厄内斯特·盖尔纳、本尼迪克特·安德森、埃里克·霍布斯鲍姆、安东尼·史密斯等。当前西方种族、民族主义回潮对所在国家、地区和世界政治产生了深远影响。系统梳理西方经典作家关于民主主义的理论,探寻其价值追求和政治主张,分析和借鉴其中有益成果,为当代西方民族主义理论研究,新时期中国民族理论研究,铸牢中华民族共同体意识等提供借鉴和启示。Nationalism is a political phenomenon and social force that cannot be ignored in the international political structure since modern times.Western classic writers have made quite a wealth of research results on democracy,including Eric Kedoury,Ernest Gellner,Benedict Anderson,Eric Hobsbaum,and some scholars such as Anthony Smith,in the context of the current resurgence of race and nationalism in the West,which has had a profound impact on the country,region,and world politics.Analyzing and reviewing the democratic theories of classic Western authors,exploring their value pursuits and political propositions,learning from the useful results,building a solid Chinese national community for contemporary Western theoretical research on nationalism,researching on Chinese ethnic theory in the new era,and harmonious ethnic relations,consciousness,etc so as to provide some reference and enlightenment.
