摘　　要：本文阐明了益生元的内涵、营养活性及其作用机理,介绍了益生元营养活性的评定指标及其选用原则,综述了益生元在反刍动物上的应用进展,指出了益生元在反刍动物上的应用潜力及须进一步解决的问题。文章最后指出,将益生元的使用置于动物营养工程技术体系中,进行科学利用。In this paper,the connotation,nutritive activity and action mechanism of prebiotics were expounded,the evaluation indexes and selection principles of prebiotics were introduced,the application progress of prebiotics in ruminants was summarized,and the potential application of prebiotics in ruminants and the problems to be solved further were pointed out.Finally,the article pointed out that the use of prebiotics should be put into the animal nutrition engineering technology system for scientific utilization.
