摘 要:论文在问卷法和访谈法的基础上,从自我实现、人际关系、物质环境、外部支持、薪酬福利、专业发展六个方面,探究了英国华文教育工作者的的职业生存状态,并运用社会学场域资本理论进行了分析。研究发现,英国华文教育工作者整体职业生存状态良好,但继续从教意愿有待提高;在“自我实现”维度的满意度最高,“专业发展”维度的满意度最低;职业生存状态在性别、教学机构和教学对象方面存在显著差异。英国华文教育工作者的文化资本和社会资本拥有量有所提升,但经济资本和符号资本仍然欠缺,导致他们的消极职业体验。为了进一步改善其职业生存状态,应从顶层设计、长期规划、具体操作三个层面进行改进。Drawing data from a questionnaire survey and one-to-one interviews,this study applies the“field capital theory”to investigate the professional state of Chinese-language educators in the UK across six areas:self-actualization,salary,professional development,and work environment including human relationship and social support.It finds that Chinese educators generally feel good about their overall work environment,but their willingness to remain in teaching Chinese is relatively unclear.Their highest satisfaction comes from self-actualization through teaching,but the lowest from professional development.Amongst them there are significant differences with regards to gender,schools and students.The research also notes that the sociocultural capital of Chinese schools has increased in the UK.However,Chinese schools still lack financial capital and symbolic rewards,which result in educators’negative experience of Chinese schools.In order to improve their professional state,the researchers suggest a three-step approach: top-level design, long-term planning, and specific operations.
