童年时期父母外出对受教育水平的影响——基于中国家庭追踪调查的实证研究

摘　　要：父母外出会对留守儿童的教育产生重要影响,但是目前还没有文献研究父母外出对留守儿童教育的长期影响。本文使用2010年中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)基线数据和2018年追访数据,研究了0-12岁时父母外出状况对其受教育水平的影响。研究发现:(1)在孩子0-3岁时,随着父亲连续外出时间的增加,孩子的受教育水平在逐渐提高;随着母亲连续外出时间的增加,孩子的受教育水平在逐渐降低。(2)在孩子4-12岁时,随着母亲连续外出时间的增加,孩子的受教育水平在逐渐降低,父亲连续外出时间对孩子的受教育水平无明显影响。(3)分样本回归结果显示童年时期父母外出状况对其受教育水平的影响存在明显的城乡差异、性别差异和地区差异。Parents’working and living apart from children can influence the education of left behind children,but few literature study the long term effect of living apart from parents on left behind children’s education.This paper evaluates the influence of parents’living apart from children of 0-12 years old on their educational Level based on the data of China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)2010 and the tracking survey in 2018.Results show:1.In the period of 0-3 years old,the increasing continuous time separating from father can improve the children’s education level gradually while that separating from mother can lower the education level of children gradually;2.In the period of 4-12 years old,the increasing continuous time of mother’s living apart can lower the education level of children gradually while that of father’s living apart has no obvious effect on the children’s educational level;3.the influence of parents'living apart from children in childhood on the Educational Level has obvious differences by urban-rural,gender and regions.
