新国标视野下理工科高校英语专业课程体系建设研究

摘　　要：《高等学校外语类专业本科教学质量国家标准》体现了分类培养、分层卓越的指导思想,为高校英语专业人才的培养指明了新的方向。中国矿业大学外国语言文化学院依据新国标构建了“4+3+X”的英语专业课程体系。“4”是指四大课程模块,即通识教育课程、专业大类选修课程、专业课程和拓展课程;“3”是指拓展课程所包含的三大拓展方向;“X”是指每个拓展方向所包含的多样化课程组。该课程体系既突出了校本特色又贯彻了新国标的指导思想,为理工科高校英语专业课程体系建设做出了有效尝试。National Criteria for Teaching Quality of Foreign Language Majors in Colleges and Universities reflects the guiding ideology of classified training and layered excellence and points out a new direction for the cultivation of college English majors’talents.School of Foreign Languages and Culture of the China University of Mining and Technology has established a“4+3+X”English majors curriculum system according to the new national standard.Among others,“4”refers to the four curricula modules:general education,elective courses of major categories,professional courses and extended courses;“3”means the three directions of development included in extended courses;“X”is the diversified course groups included in each extended direction.The curriculum system not only highlights the school-based characteristics,but also carries out the guiding ideology of the new national standard which makes an effective attempt to construct the curriculum system of English major in science and engineering colleges.
