摘 要:专利质量与企业绩效的关系长期受到学者和业界的关注,但研究结论并不一致。本文收集信息技术硬件行业179家企业2014-2018年的面板数据,采用分层回归与分组回归的方法,探讨了包括技术、法律和经济三个不同维度下专利质量与企业绩效之间的关系及其作用机理。实证发现:专利被引次数、权利要求数量均对企业绩效有显著的促进作用,并且专利被引次数的促进作用更强;维持超6年的专利数量与企业绩效的关系不显著;相较于不连续性创新,连续性创新正向调节了专利被引次数与企业绩效、权利要求数量与企业绩效的关系,并且属于同质调节变量。本文拓展了技术创新管理领域的相关研究,研究结论对促进企业专利质量的绩效转化及技术创新类型的选择有指导价值。The relationship between patent quality and enterprise performance has long been concerned by scholars and the industry,but the research conclusions are inconsistent.This paper collects panel data of 179 companies in the information technology hardware industry from 2014 to 2018,and adopts the method of hierarchical regression and group regression to discuss the relationship between patent quality and enterprise performance and its mechanism under three different dimensions,including technology,law and economy.This paper obtained the following conclusions through empirical research:The number of patents cited and claims have a significant promotion effect on the enterprise performance,and the promotion effect of the number of patents cited is stronger;The relationship between the number of patents maintained over 6 years and the enterprise performance is not significant;Compared with discontinuous innovation,continuous innovation positively regulates the relationship between the number of patents cited and enterprise performance,the number of claims and enterprise performance;What’s more,it is a homologizer variable.This study expands the relevant research in the field of technology innovation management,and the research conclusions have guiding value for promoting the performance transformation of enterprise patent quality and the selection of technology innovation types.
