摘  要:目的了解独立通风笼盒(individually ventilated cages,IVC)对实验小鼠的生长繁育状况是否造成影响。方法对封闭群ICR小鼠在IVC系统和层流柜内的生长繁育过程中的体质量增长、平均产仔数、胎间隔等生长繁育性能进行统计分析。结果远交群ICR小鼠在IVC系统内1~5周龄的增长速度快于层流柜,两者之间差异有统计学意义(t=3.970,P<0.05),6~8周龄体质量逐渐趋于相似,两者之间差异无统计学意义(t=0.310,P>0.05)。而平均产仔数(t=0.657,P>0.05)、胎间隔(t=0.274,P>0.05)、离乳育成率(t=0.092,P>0.05)在IVC系统和层流柜内两者之间没有显著性差异。1~5胎的平均产仔数为11.8~14.8,交配分娩间隔为22~36 d,离乳育成率为88.7%~97.3%。每季度微生物送检两者均符合SPF级国家标准。结论用IVC系统进行清洁级或SPF级实验小鼠小批量生产繁殖是完全可行的,值得推广使用。Objective To study whether individually ventilated cages(IVC)affects the growth and reproduction of experimental mice.Methods Statistical analysis was performed on the body mass growth,average litter size,and fetal interval during the growth and breeding performance of ICR mice in the closed group in the IVC system and laminar flow cabinet were analyzed.Results The ICR mice from the distant cross-group grew faster at 1-5 weeks of age in the IVC system was faster than that in the Laminar flow cabinet,and the difference between the two was statistically significant(t=3.970,P<0.05).Body mass at the ages of 6 to 8 weeks tended to be similar,with no significant difference between them(t=0.310,P>0.05).However,there were no significant differences in the mean litter size(t=0.657,P>0.05),fetal septum(t=0.274,P>0.05),and weaning fertility rate(t=0.092,P>0.05)between the IVC system and the laminar flow cabinet.The mean litter size of 1 to 5 fetuses ranged from 11.8 to 14.8,the interval between mating and delivery was from 22 to 36 days,the rate of weaning was from 88.7%to 97.3%,which was consistent with the literature.Quarterly microbiological testing both meet the national standards of SPF.Conclusion The use of the IVC system for small batch breeding of clean or SPF grade experimental mice is entirely feasible and worthy of wider use.
