摘　　要：胡床是一种外来的高型坐具,其流传深刻地改变了中国人的坐姿方式和由此形成的礼仪传统。同时,在传播的过程中胡床也发展出了新的样式和形制。由此,胡床成为了一种考察中国起居方式演变的绝佳材料,对现代家具设计同样有所启发。Hu bed is a kind of foreign tall style seat, in ancient times, which has profoundly changed the Chinese sitting style and the etiquette tradition. At the same time, in the process of communication, Hu bed also developed a new style and shape. As a result, Hu bed has become an excellent material to investigate the evolution of Chinese living style, and also has inspiration for modern furniture design.
