摘　　要：《孟子》“思诚”章包含三大论域:其一,它与《孔子家语》《中庸》《淮南子》似曾相识的字句同异值得分辨;其二,它与《中庸》环环相扣的思想关联值得分析;其三,它与曾子、子思薪火相传的学脉传承值得分疏。尽管“诚而思诚”的思想义理是《孟子》“思诚”章的重中之重,但如果基于思想义理而统筹兼顾,亦即增加比较研究的文本数量、彰显思想发展的亲缘属性以及理顺曾子、子思、孟子的演变历程,那么,此一单章研究就会达成《孟子》深度解读及其思想研究的学术使命,成为孟子研究与孟学史研究新的学术增长点。Book 4A12 of the work Mencius contains three domains of discourse:First,it is worth making distinctions among similar words in Book 4A12 of Mencius,Family Analects of Confucius,The Doctrine of the Mean,and Huainan Zi;Second,the interlocking associations in thoughts between Book 4A12 and The Doctrine of the Mean are worth analyzing;Third,the inheritance of authentic traditions passed down from Zengzi through Zisi to Mencius are worth sorting out.Although“to be sincere and to think about sincerity”is the priority among priorities in Book 4A12,it is necessary to take the holistic approach by considering not just this fundamental philosophy in Book 4A12,but also other comparable texts,the affinity relationship in its thought development,as well as the thought development process from Zengzi through Zisi to Mencius.With these considerations in mind,the study of this single chapter Book 4A12 can be proved academically meaningful in profoundly interpreting the work Mencius and its thoughts as well as in becoming a new academic topic in both Mencius study and the study of the history of Mengology.
