全面质量管理与创新的中介变量研究——基于组织文化智力视角

摘　　要：已有研究关注到中介变量在全面质量管理与创新之间的关联作用,但对中介变量与链接对象之间的内涵仍然十分模糊。本文以中资跨国公司为研究对象,引入组织文化智力概念作为链接全面质量管理与创新之间的中介变量,探索组织文化智力对促进全面质量管理与创新的内在机理,厘清组织文化智力的功能作用。通过选择的样本数据分析,本文发现全面质量管理在不同的创新类型下会产生不同的影响,即全面质量管理与渐进创新具有显著倒U型关系,与激进创新没有显著倒U型关系,但通过组织文化智力的中介作用,全面质量管理对渐进创新和激进创新均有重要的影响。Previous studies have focused on the role of mediation variables in the relationship between innovation and TQM,but the connotation and interrelationships among them are still very vague. Taking 24 Chinese multinational corporations as our sample,this paper employs the mediating role of organizational cultural intelligence to explore the relationships between innovation and TQM. We obtain the following research findings:( i) Total quality management has a significant,inverted U-shaped relationship with incremental innovation;i.e.,total quality management has an optimal point,and incremental innovation exhibits an increasing and then decreasing trend.( ii)Total quality management has a significantly positive correlation with organizational cultural intelligence.( iii) Organizational cultural intelligence has significantly positive correlations with incremental and radical innovation respectively.( iv) Organizational cultural intelligence plays a partial mediating role between organizational cultural intelligence and incremental innovation,while total mediating effect is found between total quality management and radical innovation.
