摘　　要：语境是翻译活动中最重要的信息源,档案翻译的独特性要求翻译主体应具备敏锐的文本考辨能力和语境意识,在语境机制作用下,跨越异质时空的限制,充分利用历史语境和翻译语境在翻译活动中的决定性作用,发挥语境的解释与滤补功能,挖掘档案史料中被遗漏的潜在信息。本文旨在为档案翻译实践提供一定的经验和借鉴。Context is the most important information source in translation activities.The uniqueness of archive translation requires translator equipped with sharp textual study ability and context-awareness.Under the effect of the context-mechanism,the translator can overcome the constraints of heterogeneous time-space and make full use of decisive roles of both historical context and translational context in translation activities.Also,the translator can utilize the interpretation and contextual amplification functions of context to dig out the omissive underlying information in historical archives.The purpose of this article is to provide certain experience and reference to the practice of archive translation.
