摘　　要："性格决定命运"和"知识改变命运"两个传统命题在当代社会依然得到广泛认同。以中青年财富水平为命运的测量工具,基于280份调查问卷数据,采用回归分析方法,验证了个体性格与财富、知识与财富改变之间的关系。研究发现:性格的3个维度,本能、情感和思维,均与个人财富水平显著正相关;从后天学习获得的知识,包括学识、技能和认知,均对个人财富跃迁产生显著的正向影响。研究结论为两个命题的成立提供了证据,也为当代中国中青年群体改变命运提供了理论指引。"Character determines destiny"and"knowledge changes fate"are two traditional propositions which are still widely recognized in contemporary society.Taking the wealth level of young and middle-aged people as measuring tool,the paper uses regression analysis method to explore the relationships between individual personality and wealth level as well as between personal knowledge and wealth change based on the data of a survey with 280 questionnaires.We find that three dimensions of individual character,i.e.instinct,emotion and thinking,show strong correlations with personal wealth level,and also,knowledge dimensions including education,skill and cognition have significant positive impacts on the transition of personal wealth.The conclusions offer evidences for the propositions and provide young and middle-aged people theoretical directions to change their fates.
