In recent years,a large number of studies have shown that the epigenetic phenomenon of m6A methylation is closely related to the occurrence and development of malignant tumors. It affects the shearing, translation and stability of mRNA through methyltransferase, demethylase and m6A binding protein, thus regulating the proliferation, differentiation and drug resistance of tumor cells. With the deepening of the research on the methylation of m6A in malignant tumors, its mechanism of action in cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer and other gynecological malignancies has been gradually discovered. Therefore, this paper reviewed the recent research progress of m6A methylation in gynecological malignant tumors with high incidence of cervical cancer, endometrial cancer and ovarian cancer, and introduced the mechanism by which methyltransferase, demethylase and m6A binding protein regulate the occurrence and development of tumors by modifying the role of mRNA.The related research results will also provide new detection methods and targets for the prevention and treatment of gynecological malignant tumors.
