摘 要:美国英语的全球传播是美国有意识地进行语言推广的结果,显性和隐性传播手段相互配合。二战后,美国始终倡导教育国际化战略,招收海外留学生赴美学习,吸引海外学者开展合作研究,推广面向全球的标准化英语测试,系统化开展教学理论与实践研究,在海外出版发行美国教材,与英国就英语教育开展合作。美国通过其教育国际化的各种举措有效且隐蔽地推广了美国英语,捍卫并强化了美国英语的全球通用语地位。美国教育国际化的成功实践为我国新时代的中文与中华文化海外传播提供了有益借鉴。The global spread of American English is the result of the United States'conscious language promotion,with the explicit and implicit dissemination methods complimenting each other.After World War II,the United States has always advocated the strategy of internationalization of education,recruiting overseas students to study in the United States,attracting overseas scholars to carry out cooperative research,promoting standardized English tests globally,systematically conducting research on teaching theory and practice,publishing and distributing American textbooks overseas,and cooperating with the U.K.on English education.The United States has effectively and covertly promoted American English through its various measures of the internationalization of education,defending and strengthening the status of American English as a global lingua franca.The successful practice of the internationalization of education by the United States after World War II has provided a useful reference for the overseas dissemination of Chinese language and culture in the new era.
