摘　　要：探讨体裁结构特征为ESP/EAP教学提供启示,是Swales体裁理论创立的初衷。30年来大量研究揭示了体裁内、外资源与"交际事件"的关系。但是,这期间国内外研究的趋势和现状,目前国内学界缺乏系统的了解。鉴于此,本研究在Cite Space技术辅助下,通过文献追踪分析,从期刊发文、高影响力学者和文献、主要研究内容几个方面,尝试梳理并对比1990—2020年间国内外研究的现状及发展趋势。研究发现:1)国外研究在不断充实和实践体裁理论基础上,其研究主题经历了几次"转向",拓展到行业体裁结构、学科变异、文化传统、体裁批评。主要为自上而下路径,多层次、多维度兼顾体裁文本内部、外部资源的探讨;2)相较于国外研究,国内研究起步滞后约20年,且主要聚焦于文本内部资源的描述,对行业体裁的跨文化差异及体裁批评、学术体裁学科和跨文化差异、体裁的复杂层次的关注不足。而这种现象在一定程度上将影响国内学术写作教学和特殊用途英语教学的效果。Exploring generic structure to provide implications for ESP/EAP teaching,is the original intention of Swales’genre theory.Abundant studies over the past 30 years have revealed the relations between internal/external resources of genre and the"communicative events".However,a complete picture of the trends of development and current status of genre analysis in this period remains unclear for Chinese researchers.In view of this,employing the CiteSpace technology and citation tracking,we intend,in this article,to sort out and compare research trends and current status of genre analysis studies(1990—2020)at home and abroad,from the aspects of the volume of journal articles,high-impact authors and literatures,and main research topics.Results show that:1)international studies have continuously practiced and developed genre theory,with a few"turns"of focuses,namely from academic genres to professional genres,to disciplinary variations,cultural conventions and genre criticism.Most of them have taken the"top-down"path,looking more comprehensively,multi-perspectively and multi-dimensionally at the internal and external resources of genres;and 2)the beginning of Chinese studies of genre analysis started late in about 20 years,and have confined the focus on internal resources of genres,leaving disciplinary and cross-cultural variation of academic and professional genres,as well as the complex nature of genre almost untouched.The inadequacy of research in China may affect the effect of EAP and ESP teaching to a certain extent.
