On the significance of Zhang Boran’s translation thoughts with Chinese characteristics

摘　　要：本文系统梳理了张柏然对中国特色翻译学思想的界定和属性、构建中国特色翻译学思想的必要性和可行性、中国传统译论观以及构建中国特色翻译学思想的路径和方法。文章认为张柏然中国特色翻译学思想产生于他对塑造中国翻译理论主体性的追求及其对中国传统译论的热爱,赋予中国特色翻译学构建以全新的高度和维度,阐明了当代译学研究的发展方向,不仅为中国传统译论的阐发与研究提供有力的理论支持,也为以数字技术与人文融合为主要特征的数字人文视域下的翻译研究提供坚实的本土理论支撑。This article discusses the origin,major contents and historical significance of Zhang Boran’s translation thoughts with Chinese characteristics,so as to highlight the rationale behind his theory construction.Focusing upon his definition of translation studies with Chinese characteristics,his outlook on traditional Chinese translation theory,and his approaches to constructing translation theory with Chinese characteristics,it is argued that Zhang Boran’s translation thoughts originate from his pursuit of the subjectivity of Chinese translation theory and his love for traditional Chinese translation theory.It is believed that Zhang Boran’s translation thoughts not only shed lights for constructing the framework of translation studies with Chinese characteristics,but also expounds directions for contemporary Chinese translation studies in the digital humanities supposed to be an interdisciplinary study integrating the digital humanities and empirical translation studies.
