摘　　要：新旧唐书均称杜牧因从兄杜悰“更历将相”而“不乐”“不平”,杜牧与杜悰关系究竟如何?李德裕会昌执政时未提拔屡建良言的杜牧,当有杜悰偏向牛党的因素。杜牧因病弟孀妹之家累,曾向杜悰求告并得到照应。二人政治才干和理想抱负均大不相同,具有崇高政治理想的杜牧与尸位素餐的杜悰并无多少共同语言;但限于血缘亲情,杜牧对杜悰的负面官声却加以维护,表现出其世故练达的一面。Old and new book of Tang said DU Mu has an unfavorable and rough relationship with DU Cong,his brother.What is the relationship between them after all?While LI Deyu was ruling at Huichang,DU Mu was not promoted despite his loyalty.DU Mu asked DU Cong for help due to family burden,but did not get responses.The two’s political talents and ambition are not the same.DU Mu has a lofty political ideal,but DU Cong helds down his job without doing a stroke of work.They do not have much common language.However,due to blood affection,DU Cong's negative image has been maintained by DU Mu,which show his worldly wisdom .
