How to deal with the clash of civilizations is an important question we have to face in this era. As for this, one of Orhan Pamuk’s novels named The White Castle may provide a new inspiration, namely "I am you". By applying the Sufi mysticism, this book not only points out some characteristics of "civilization", such as its tendency toward power and its nature of relative truth, but also visualizes the history of subject philosophy and defines "self" as human’s animal desire. Although Pamuk was always regarded as a postmodern writer, the "love" and the exchanging identity between "I" and Hoca represents and calls out a holy world with "he" in the center. The nature of man is zero and nothingness, everything in the universe mixes together and admires each other, and lives condense into a moment. At last, all return to an incomparable and indescribable "secret".
