摘　　要：乔纳森·弗兰岑是著名的美国当代现实主义小说家。他的小说《自由》通过描写一个美国普通家庭的曲折遭遇,生动地展现了当代消费主义和自由主义思潮影响下美国社会所面临的伦理道德危机。文学伦理学对于文学功能和属性能够进行分析、界定,针对消费主义对传统家庭伦理观和社会道德体系的冲击作出全面梳理和阐释。弗兰岑有意与叙述文本保持距离,借以如实反映社会现实的写作风格及其对重塑现代伦理道德观的迫切渴望,正是文学伦理学的社会教化功能属性的如实体现。Jonathan Franzen is a famous American novelist of contemporary realism.His novel“Freedom”vividly demonstrates ethical crisis faced by American society under the influence of consumerism and liberalism through describing twists and turns experiences of an ordinary American family.The article makes comprehensive hackle and illustration on the impact of consumerism towards traditional family ethics and social morals through property analysis of ethical literary criticism on literature and also points out writer’s writing style of keeping the distance from text narration through which to reflect social reality.The aspiration of re-shaping modern ethical morals is a precise representation of ethical literary educational function.
