人工翻译、机器翻译与译后编辑的对比实证分析——以汉语介词结构翻译为例

摘　　要：选用来自同一源语的机器翻译、人工翻译和译后编辑译文,在英语专业高年级本科生中通过问卷展开可接受度调查,旨在发现机器翻译对介词结构误译的普遍表现及三种译本可接受度的差别,并试图分析其中原因。研究结果表明:人工翻译与进行误译更正的译后编辑速度相近;译后编辑译文平均质量与人工翻译相近,但人工翻译译文质量的上限更高,两者的译文质量均明显高于机器翻译译文;译后编辑的译文从相似度上判断更为接近机器翻译的译文,明显受到机器翻译译文的影响;机器翻译在翻译包含介词结构的句子时的主要错误包括主语混乱、介词短语翻译不当、介词含义选择不当和不符合汉语表达习惯,在进行译后编辑和对机器翻译进行改进时应予以注意。This research divides 40 students from a class of MTI students into two groups,respectively performing human translation and machine translation post-editing.Obvious errors in the translation of prepositions in the machine translated texts provided.After receiving the human translated text and post-edited text,questionnaires are sent to English major students to evaluate these texts.The research results show that:(1)the speed of human translation is similar to that of post-editing prepositional errors;(2)the quality of the post-edited translation is similar to that of human translation,but the upper limit of human translation is higher,and the quality of both translations is significantly higher than machine translation;(3)The post-edited translation is more similar to the translation by machine translation and the post-edited translation is affected by machine translation;(4)The main errors of machine translation when translating prepositional errors include error of the subject,improper translation of preposition phrases,wrong choice of preposition meanings,and abnormal usage of Chinese.Attention should be paid to these errors when conducting post-translation editing and improving machine translation.
