Objective To investigate the effects of pulp revascularization on vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and nerve growth factor(NGF)in young permanent teeth rats. Methods 20 rats were randomly divided into control group(n=10)and observation group(n=10).The mRNA levels of VEGF and NGF were measured by real-time PCR,and the effects of pulp revascularization on VEGF and NGF in young permanent teeth rats were analyzed. Results The X-ray results showed that the root tip shadow of the mandibular first molar in the pulp revascularization group was enlarged, the canal wall was thickened, new high-density hard tissue was formed, and the root continued to develop in the observation group. The results of real-time PCR showed that the mRNA levels of VEGF and NGF in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Endodontic revascularization in young permanent teeth rats has ideal effect and can improve the levels of VEGF and NGF.
