摘 要:甲午中日战争后,为了实践教育救国的思想主张,严复从译书与办报入手,先后辗转于天津俄文馆、通艺学堂、复旦公学、安庆高等学堂、北京大学等处,改革传统教育模式的弊端、推行一系列近代化的教育教学方式。不仅推动了近代中国教育的发展,也促进了国人的思想启蒙。受限于社会局势的动荡不安与自身的理论缺陷,严复的教育实践屡屡碰壁、成效有限,反映了近代中国教育救国之路的曲折艰辛。After the Sino Japanese War of 1894-1895,in order to practice the idea of liberating the nation through education,Yan Fu started with translating books and running newspapers,and successively went to Tianjin Russian Library,Tongyi School,Fudan Public School,Anqing University,and Peking University,etc.to reform the disadvantages of traditional education mode and carry out a series of modern education and teaching methods.It not only promoted the development of modern Chinese education,but also promoted the ideological enlightenment of Chinese people.Limited by the turbulence of the social situation and his own theoretical defects,Yan Fu's educational practice repeatedly ran into a wall with limited results,reflecting the tortuous and arduous road of saving the nation by education in modern China.
