摘　　要：《戏剧与人生》是陈铨唯一的戏剧理论专著,既是对与其民族文学理论一脉相承的戏剧观的阐释,也是对其所遭受批判的回应。全书主要围绕崇高艺术与宣传工具、人生态度与戏剧立场、“戏园”剧本与“案头”剧本、戏剧创作与戏剧批评四个方面展开论述,理顺陈铨对这几组关系的态度,有助于进一步理解他抗战时期戏剧创作所呈现的特点。其戏剧理论无论是对抗战时期的戏剧创作还是对中国现代戏剧理论的建设,都具有独特价值。Drama and Life,as Chen Quan s only monograph on drama theory,is not only an interpretation of his drama view,which is in line with his national literature theory,but also a response to the criticism he receives.The book mainly focuses on four groups of relationships:sublime art and propaganda tool,life attitude and drama position,“theater”script and“reading”script,and drama writing and drama criticism.Straightening out Chen Quan s attitude towards these relationships will facilitate the further comprehension of the characteristics of his drama creation during the Anti-Japanese War.His drama theory has its unique value not only to the drama creation during the Anti-Japanese War,but also to the construction of modern Chinese drama theory.
