摘　　要：珍珠是一种具有悠久历史,珍贵的有机宝石,在中国古代称"真珠",被誉为"珠宝皇后",是自然界中唯一一个由自然生命体孕育出的珠宝,具有瑰丽色彩和高雅气质,象征纯洁、健康、富有、幸福。珍珠在医学上具有安神定惊,明目去翳,解毒生肌的功效。国际珠宝界把珍珠作为6月的生辰石和结婚三十周年的纪念宝石。In the international market, value appraisal of pearl is carried out in terms of luster,smoothness, size, shape, color,collocation, etc. Due to the different cultures and aesthetic concepts of various countries,regional differences alsohave impacts on the real value of pearl.Therefore, importance of various appraisalfactors is not exactly the same.
