摘  要:名物化是语言水平的一个重要指标,也是学术语篇的标志。随着二语水平的提高,中国英语学习者名物化隐喻能力也有所发展,但同时又出现了停滞。即使高水平学习者仍存在隐喻操控不足的问题,这可能和过度强调语言的正确性有关。目前学界针对我国英语学习者名物化隐喻能力发展的研究并不多,因此关注学习者名物化的中介语特征及动态发展过程,可以帮助其发现名物化构建过程中存在的问题和不足,提高学术写作水平和二语水平。Nominalization is an important indicator of language proficiency and a marker for academic discourse.It shows that with the increase of L2 proficiency,the quality of Chinese EFL learners′metaphorical competence of nominalization improves accordingly.However,stagnation also occurs in this development.It is found that even the advanced leaners′metaphorical control is not adequate,which is maybe relevant to the over-emphasis of the linguistic correctness.Currently,little has been done to empirically map learners′development of nominalization proficiency.Therefore,it is necessary to describe such dynamic process and grasp the characteristics of interlanguage in intermediate realizations of nominalization.This study can assist learners in recognizing problems and incompleteness in the construction of nominalization,so as to enhance their academic writing competence and L2 proficiency.
