摘　　要：通过对杨廷宝先生1927-1957年作品的阅读,探讨杨廷宝先生在类型学的基础上表现出的两个相互辩证的设计理念:经由对场地、地形与功能的回应,逐渐发展出的地域性与现代性;以及他在古典样式建筑的语境下,如何探索空间形式与功能体量的设计策略。Through close reading of Yang Tingbao’s design works between 1927 and 1957,the paper investigates Yang’s typological design method demonstra ted in two dialectical design discourses.First,the gradual development of regional sensitivity and modernity in his design works through sensible responds to site,topography,and function.Second,design strategies for exploring functional and spatial form in the context of classicism and style a rchitecture.
