摘　　要：高等教育全球化中的侨易现象于东方和西方国家普遍存在,它是指留学生、学者、管理者和高等教育机构等主体在不同国家和地区之间的物质位移,并伴随思想变异的一种现象,包括学习型侨易、传播型侨易、兼容型侨易和机构型侨易四种类型。基于学生流动的学习型侨易是最主要的侨易类型,它使个人获得收益和增强侨出国的竞争力;基于学者流动的传播型侨易在全球范围内发展,它使学者及其研究面向全球,增进对世界的理解;基于管理者互访的兼容型侨易日趋活跃,有利于推动教育交流与合作;基于高等教育提供者的机构型侨易呈现多样化的发展态势,能够推进知识交易与文化传播。高等教育全球化促进个人及群体的侨动、文化知识的习得、思想的传播与变异,同时也存在不完全平等的知识传播及交换关系。因此,中国应该自觉认知高等教育全球化中的侨易现象是参与高等教育全球化的基础,也是建立立足于自身实际的高等教育系统的基础。与此同时,作为高等教育大国的中国需要积极参与高等教育全球化,在积极的参与行动中,发挥影响力,彰显中国特色。Globalization,or the movement of people,ideas,goods and services across borders,has made a great impact upon higher education,leading to significant transformations affecting students,scholars,administrators as well as institutions. Those globalizationinduced transformations in higher education can be divided into four types. First,student mobility-induced transformations,namely,the growth students gain from studying abroad. Second,scholar mobility-induced transformations,namely,the benefits scholars reap from exchange programs. Third, administrative visit-induced transformations, namely, international exchanges and cooperation strengthened via administrators ’trips abroad. Fourth,institution mobility-induced transformations,namely,cultural diversity and knowledge transmission promoted by cross-border mobility of higher education institutions. Although globalization has improved mobility and interaction,facilitated the spread and acquisition of knowledge,there remain,especially between developed and developing countries,uneven power dynamics of global knowledge production and exchange. Therefore,we should be aware of both the advantages and disadvantages of those globalization-induced transformations in our higher education. On the one hand,it is still necessary for us to remain open to the world and actively participate in globalization,but on the other hand,we also need to increase China’s global influence as a major country via especially promoting the development of higher education with Chinese characteristics.
