摘  要:本实验利用超声驻波能量分布特性,使各向同性液体介质密度发生规律性变化,得到各向异性的液体介质从而演示光弹效应.相比于传统的演示方法,该实验通过颜色转变直观地体现折射率变化导致的光弹效应,操作简单且现象明显,让观察者更好地认识光的偏振性质,是对传统教学的一种有益补充.Compared with the traditional demonstration experiment of photoelastic effect,we extended a new demonstration instrument of photoelastic effect based on the subject content.This instrument can demonstrate the liquid medium in the environment where mechanical stress cannot be applied by human.By using the energy distribution characteristics of ultrasonic standing wave,the density of the isotropic liquid medium is changed,and the anisotropic liquid medium is obtained,thus demonstrating the photoelastic effect.This innovative use of ultrasound in liquid medium demonstrated in photoelastic effect,simple operation and phenomenon obviously,based on the change of the colors of intuitive feel the effect of refractive index change,use the color change of the macroscopic response of abstract physical concept,at the same time,better let viewers know polarization properties of light waves,is a useful complement to traditional teaching.
