A Survey Study on the Self-Evaluation of Professional Development of the All-Subjects-Teaching Teachers in Rural Primary Schools

摘  要:我国的小学全科教师是指在小学担任多门课程教学的教师。问卷调查发现小学全科教师对自己的专业发展水平和能力评价较高,而且随教龄的增长而增长,但第一学历越高的小学全科教师专业发展自我评价却越低。学校规模越小、离城区越远的小学全科教师的专业发展自我评价越高。教学实践可能促进了全科教师的专业发展,但他们存在多学科知识和技能欠缺、全科能力不足等问题,且在多学科知识和技能维度上的得分并未随教龄增长而增长。All-subjects-teaching teachers(“AST teachers”for short)in our country refer to teachers who teach multiple subjects or all subjects at a primary school.This questionnaire survey study on all-subjects-teaching teachers in rural primary schools has yielded the following findings:On the whole,the AST teachers have a high evaluation of their own professional level and ability,and their scores of professional level and ability get higher with the increase of their teaching experiences;However,the higher first academic degrees the AST teachers have,the lower theirself-evaluation of the professional development becomes;The smaller the scales of the schools and the further away from the city,the higher the self-evaluation of the professional development the AST teachers may have;Though the teaching practice has promoted the AST teachers'professional development in such aspects as teaching skills and the ability to care and manage students,they still lack multi disciplinary knowledge and skills,and all-subjects-teaching competencies.Moreover,the AST teachers'scores in the multi disciplinary knowledge and inter disciplinary skills do not grow with the increasing years of teaching experience.
