摘  要:近代中国第一个到西方学习水利科学的李仪祉,不仅是功勋卓著的水利大师,也是近代著名的水利教育家。其“水利兴国”的思想萌芽于第二次留德期间,而水利教育思想则形成于执教河海工程学校阶段,内容汇合中西,贯通古今,融理论知识与实践经验于一炉,而且随时代变化和水利实践而发展丰富。其代表作《水功学》乃李仪祉水利教育思想形成和丰富的主要标志。在实践中,李仪祉坚持知识与能力并重的育人观念;在教育内容上坚持传统与现代合璧的水利科学理念;在教育方法上坚持重视实践、教学相长的路径。其教育思想与成就不但在民国水利界、教育界产生了重要影响,而且超越了时代,给后人留下了宝贵的精神财富。Li yizhi,the first modern Chinese to study water conservancy science in the west,was not only an outstanding water conservancy master,but also a famous water conservancy educator in modern times.The core of his water conservancy education thought was“rejuvenating the country through water conservancy”,which was germinated during his second stay in Germany and formed during his teaching in Hehai Engineering School.His theory combines Chinese and Western,ancient and modern ways of water conservancy,integrates theoretical knowledge and practical experience,and develops with the progressing of the time and water conservancy practice.The compilation and revision of Hydraulic Engineering is the main symbol of the formation and enrichment of his thoughts on water conservancy education.In the training objectives,he adheres to the concept of paying equal attention to knowledge and ability.In terms of content,he adheres to the scientific concept of combining traditional and modern water conservancy.In terms of methods,he adheres to the path of attaching importance to practice and promoting both teaching and learning.His thoughts and achievements not only had an important impact on the water conservancy sector in the Republic of China,but also surpassed the times and left precious spiritual wealth to later generations.
