摘 要:有声思维法在认知翻译研究的发展历史中承载了不同的使命,揭示该方法在不同阶段的应用旨在全面了解认知翻译研究的发展,为进一步探索认知翻译研究的有效路径提供思路和启示。本文通过文献分析,梳理了认知翻译研究中有声思维法作为主要或辅助技术手段所聚焦的研究内容。研究发现,信息加工范式下的认知翻译研究关注译者个体大脑内部的加工机制,研究内容聚焦译者决策行为及认知负荷。而具身认知范式下的认知翻译研究关注个体—环境耦合的整体系统认知运作机制,研究内容扩展到译者的性格、情绪及社会环境等人文因素的影响。未来应加强利用技术与人文的双重研究工具,才能更有效地解释翻译过程中译者认知机制的复杂性与多样化。As a unique approach to capturing the participant’smental processes when engaging with translation tasks,think-aloud protocols(TAPs)have been employed as the major data source or supplementary evidence in cognitive translation studies(CTS).With a thorough investigation into the application of TAPs in CTS,this paper aims to provide a full picture of the field and also the effective path for further exploration.Through literature analysis,the paper traced back the origin,the theoretical framework of the TAPs method adopted in CTS,and the research foci of TAPs-based CTS.By presenting a concise overview,the paper pointed out that the types of research questions TAPs addressed revealed the shift of CTS from the information processing paradigm to the embodied cognitive paradigm.Under the information processing paradigm,CTS,following the principles of traditional cognitive psychology,regarded language and communication as isolated and mechanical symbolic operations inside the brain,so translation was viewed as a problem-solving process.Thus CTS had focused strongly on the mental processes of translators to figure out their decision-making behaviors and the distributions of cognitive resources,centering on some essential issues in the translation process such as translation strategies,translation units,and cognitive load.Research under this paradigm aimed to discover the basic mechanism of the translator’scognitive operation,regardless of the situatedness.This paradigm featured the predominance in the use of TAPs.Most empirical studies relied primarily on data elicited from TAPs in CTS.Under the embodied cognition paradigm,CTS,inspired by the emerging mind-body-environment connection,considered translation to be a particular typeof embodied and situated cognitive activity.It had strongly expanded from individuals’minds in isolation to the influence of psychological and physical factors such as the translator’spersonality,emotions,health problems,and also external entities,highlighting how a translator’sdecision
