美国成人继续教育协会的经验与启示

摘　　要：美国成人继续教育协会在促进美国成人教育专业化的过程中发挥了引领作用。该协会在发展过程中通过出版重要期刊并发布简讯、举行学术研讨会议、创建分工明确的组织架构、下设各组织关系团体等实践做法,努力让美国公民享有学习的机会。该协会具有探索成人世界,解决成人问题;民间团体赞助办学,适应社会需求;举办多种类活动,维护成教良性发展;主张终身学习,构建学习共同体等特色。借鉴其做法提出:应支持各种社会力量,兴办多样的成人教育;推进专业组织建设,营造良好的成教氛围;开展丰富的实践活动,扎实推进成教发展;发挥专业组织职能,服务终身学习体系等策略,以促进我国成人教育事业的长足发展与进步。American Association for adult continuing education has played a leading role in promoting the professionalization of adult education in the United States.In the process of development,the association strives to give American citizens the opportunity to learn by issuing important journals and newsletters,holding academic seminars,creating a clear internal organization structures and setting up various affiliated groups.The association has the features of exploring the adult world to solve adult problems;non-governmental organization sponsored schools to meet the needs of society;holding various activities to maintain the sound development of adult education;advocating lifelong learning and building a learning community.Learning from its practice,this paper puts forward that we should support various social forces and set up various adult education;promote the construction of professional organizations and create a good atmosphere for adult education;carry out rich practical activities and solidly promote the development of adult education;give full play to the functions of professional organizations and serve the lifelong learning system,so as to promote the rapid development and progress of adult education in China.
