摘　　要：在西方音乐的历史文本中,礼拜堂不仅指某种宗教建筑,还指15世纪后一种专门的音乐机构。在近代早期,英格兰皇家礼拜堂具有宗教与世俗双重特性。这既保障了礼拜堂的发展,又彰显了它的特色。皇家礼拜堂在历史发展中不但保持了其宗教服务功能的连续性,还孕育出极具世俗性质的键盘学派,使后者成为英格兰早期音乐史中浓墨重彩的一笔。In the historical texts of Western music,the chapel not only refers to a certain religious building,but also to a special musical institution that emerged after the 15^(th) century.In the early modern period,the Chapel Royal in England had both religious and secular characteristics.This not only guaranteed the development of the chapel,but also underscored its characteristics.The Chapel Royal not only maintained the continuity of its religious service function throughout its historical development,but also gave birth to a very secular keyboard school,which turned the school into a highlight in the early music history of England.
