“三美论”视角下《红楼梦》中金陵判词英译赏析

摘　　要：《红楼梦》判词以诗词形式呈现,语言简洁凝练,对书中主要人物一生进行概括,暗示人物结局,但由于中英语言存在差异,《红楼梦》判词翻译成为翻译难点。以许渊冲教授提出的“三美论”为指导,分析杨宪益英译判词的形美、音美、意美,阐述“三美论”在《红楼梦》判词的英译中的重要作用。并通过理论联系实践方式,展示中国本土诗词翻译理论,从而能够用理论更好的指导诗词翻译实践。The prophecies in A Dream of Red Mansions implies the tragic fates of main characters with obscure poems.However,due to the differences between Chinese and English,the translation of prophecies in A Dream of Red Mansions becomes difficult.In the view of Three-beauty Theory put forward by Professor Xu Yuan-chong,the paper analyzes the beauty in sound,form and sense of the prophecies translated by Yang Xian-yi,so as to provide some reference for the English translation of the prophecies of A Dream of Red Mansions and better spread Chinese culture.At the same time,we should develop our own poetry translation theories by linking theory with practice so that we can better guide the practice of poetry translation with theory.
