摘　　要：阿瑟·米勒的剧作《桥头眺望》探讨人与人之间关系分崩离析的过程,具有重要的主题意义,在深层次上是对社区之存在的重申。剧作家巧妙地运用灯光符号,不仅完成了时空的转换和气氛的渲染,而且实现了人物的塑造和主题的揭示。在这里,灯光并非一种简单的照明工具,而是具有丰富的隐喻意义。不同的灯光符号互相交织,形成特殊的光影效果,并将其他戏剧符号组织起来,赋予戏剧舞台以独特的生命,旨在揭示戏剧伦理悲剧的主题。A View from the Bridge was written by Arthur Miller explores the process of the disintegration of interpersonal relationship.It is of great thematic significance,reaffirming the existence of the community.By using diverse light symbols,the playwright not only achieves the spatial transformation and atmosphere setting,but also realizes the characterization and the theme revelation.Being not simply for lighting here,light carries rich metaphorical meaning.Different light symbols interweave with each other to produce a special light and shadow effect,combined with other theatrical elements to endow the stage with unique life and reveal the theme of ethical tragedy in the play.
