摘　　要：作为19世纪享誉世界的浪漫主义诗人,朗费罗一生写下大量的诗篇及诗剧,其作品不仅在美国范围内传播,还在整个世界范围内受到了极高的赞誉。《夜吟》《歌谣及其他》是朗费罗著作中最具代表性的诗集,而《海华沙之歌》《伊凡吉琳》在长篇叙事诗发展史上留下了浓墨重彩的一笔。同时,其诗剧《基督》三部曲同样出色。《人生颂》被收录在朗费罗的诗集《夜吟》中,被公认为是朗费罗作品中最具代表性的一篇,其诗虽然语言简洁,但却在字里行间迸发出强大的力量,对于读者来说有着巨大的激励作用,使当代青年心中的奋发向上、慷慨激昂的精神被激发。As a world-renowned romantic poet in the 19th century,Longfellow writes a large number of poems and dramas in his life.His works not only get spread in the United States,but also are highly praised all over the world.Among Longfellow’s works,Nightingale,Ballads and Others are the most representative poetry collections;The Song of Hiawatha and Ivan Gillin have left a strong mark in the development history of long narrative poetry.His poetic drama trilogy Christ is excellent as well.Ode to Life included in Longfellow’s poetry collection Nightingale is recognized as his most representative works.Though simple,the language bursts out powerful power between the lines,thus exerting a great incentive for readers.Therefore,Ode to Life has the function of inspiring contemporary youths’aspiring and strenuous spirit.
