摘 要:在艺术类高校中,公共英语的教学现状依旧不容乐观,具体表现为以下几个方面:学生的英语基础薄弱、英语学习意识低、教学内容相较于学生能力太难、教师的教学观念不够先进等。针对这些问题,英语教师应该从以下方面对公共英语教学进行改进:加强师资队伍的建设,提升英语教师的教学能力;调动学生的自觉性,让学生爱上英语学习;降低教学难度;结合英语文化进行教学;改革课堂教学模式和考核评价模式。Through analysis the specific performance is considered in this article as follows:students’poor English foundation,low awareness of English learning,The teaching content is too difficult compared to the students’abilities and the teachers’teaching concepts are not advanced enough.In response to these problems,English teachers should improve public English teaching in the following aspects:Firstly,strengthen the construction of the teaching staff and improve the teaching ability of English teachers;Secondly,mobilize the students’self-consciousness to make them fall in love with English learning;Reduce the difficulty of teaching;Teaching combined with English culture;reform the classroom teaching model and the assessment model.
