摘　　要：本文结合具体的时代语境对录像艺术的发展历史进行了梳理和论述,以此来反思录像艺术实践中存在的例如对形式主义和物质主义的迷恋等问题。与此同时,本文结合对录像艺术的历史书写问题的思考,警惕陷入自我神话当中的录像艺术。录像艺术有责任密切地关注社会,通过对录像技术和媒介的深刻认知,创造性地使用录像这一艺术形式,充分而有效地发挥出艺术的革命性力量。Based on the discussion of the historic context where the video art emerged,grew,and boomed,this paper discusses the problems of the video art practice,such as the obsession with formalism and media-first oriented ideas.Also,in the respect to the histography of video art,the paper warns that instead of trapping and drowning in the narcissistic self-myth,video art should more concentrate on the social transformations and play its revolutionary power fully and effectively through deep understandings and creative use of the video art as a method to interact with the society.
