新文化运动时期刘文典启蒙贡献探微  

On Liu Wendian's Contribution to Enlightenment during the New Culture Movement

摘　　要：新文化运动时期,刘文典由清末民初的革命者成为新文化运动的启蒙者。他积极传播进化论,影响深远;提倡并积极宣传科学和科学精神,批判“灵异论”,否定鬼神的存在;客观辨析东方古代文化与西方近代文明的关系,为启蒙开拓道路;倡导向西方学习,要求掌握现代科学研究方法;积极宣传近代人文精神,传播民主思想,批判开明专制,促进思想觉醒;提倡尚武精神,提高民族意识。刘文典为中国近代文化的启蒙、发展作出了突出的贡献。During the period of the New Culture Movement,Liu Wendian became the enlightener of the new culture movement from a revolutionary in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.He actively spread the theory of evolution and exerted far-reaching influence.He advocated and actively publicized science and scientific spirit criticizing"supernatural theory"and denying the existence of ghosts and gods.He objectively analyzed the relationship between eastern ancient culture and western modern civilization to open up the way for enlightenment,advocating learning from the west to master modern scientific research methods.Moreover,he actively publicized modern humanistic spirit and spread democratic thought,criticizing enlightened autocracy,and promoting ideological awakening.He also called for martial spirit to raise national consciousness.Liu Wendian made outstanding contributions to the enlightenment and development of Modern Chinese culture.
