摘  要:五四运动的先驱者关于"人的解放"的呐喊,促使文学抛弃旧有的内容与形式,树立了人的精神解放的时代目标。在包括莎剧在内的外国文学的东渐中,《威尼斯商人》亦成为民国时期影响最大的莎剧之一。20世纪30年代徐学文、陈伯吹"改译"、陈治策改编的《乔妆的女律师》(《威尼斯商人》)出版。徐学文、陈伯吹的改译本致力于向儿童传播莎剧;陈治策的改编本则通过农村实验戏剧向农民普及莎剧。他们改译改编的《乔妆的女律师》契合了"五四"以来对于"人的发现",宣扬人的个性、女性的独立,因而在中国莎学史上具有独特价值。the outcry of "human liberation" from pioneers in "the May Fourth Movement" urges the literary world to abandon traditional content and form and devote to the spiritual emancipation of Chinese people.Among all Shakespeare’s plays spread to the East,The Merchant of Venice,is one of the most influential in the Republic of China.In the 1930 s,there were two published versions of The Masqueraded Female Lawyer.One is rewritten by Xu Xuewen and Chen Bochui and the other is adapted by Chen Zhize.While the former targeted at children,the latter aimed at introducing Shakespeare to farmers in the experimental drama movement.These two versions of The Masqueraded Female Lawyer have emerged,advocating individual liberation which was promoted since "the May Fourth Movement",and trumpeting humanity development and the emancipation of women,and is therefore regarded of great significance in Shakespeare studies in China.
