摘 要:作为社会运动的美国成人教育历史是以社会行动运动形态兴起、式微和复兴的演变过程。20世纪中期及之前,美国成人教育作为社会运动的主要形态是由林德曼等人所领导的社会行动运动,其内涵是促进社会变革和社会行动、注重集体性的体制外活动。20世纪中期之后,资本主义加速发展,此种形态在成人教育领域逐渐边缘化,成人教育专业化成为主流。20世纪八九十年代之后,由于过度追求专业化的弊端和社会发展的要求,一些成人教育学者和组织致力于复兴成人教育作为社会行动运动,创造出社会运动学习等新的理论和实践形式,并成为现代促进个体发展和社会变革的重要力量。The history of American adult education,as a social movement,is the evolution of the rise,decline and revival of social action movement.In the middle of the 20th century and before,the main form of American adult education as a social movement is the social action movement led by Lindemann et al.Its connotation is to promote social change and social action and pay attention to collective extra-institutional activities.After the middle of the 20th century,capitalism accelerated,and this form was gradually marginalized in the field of adult education,while adult education specialization became the mainstream.After 1980s and 1990s,due to excessive pursuit of specialization and the requirement of social development,a lot of adult education scholars and organization dedicated to the revival of adult education as a social action movement,and creating new theoretical and practical forms such as social movement learning,and became an important force to promote individual development and social change.
