摘　　要：通过追溯哈佛脑死亡定义和标准的提出的历史语境和过程,哈佛脑死亡委员会成员的遴选,与器官移植的利益纠葛及其具体的贡献,可以发现这一概念是受到科学、医学、社会和文化的影响,彰显了医学人文学界、医学界和公众之间在脑死亡问题上不断纠结的医学化和去医学化张力。The Harvard standard of brain death has been used as a routine standard of diagnosing death.Through tracing and analyzing the historical context and dynamics of defining brain death,the selection of the members of Harvard Ad Hoc Committee Brain Death,including their specific roles and underlying interest conflicts involved in organ transplantation,it is found that,as a product of medicalization and de-medicalization,the Harvard standard of brain and death represents the tension between medical humanities,medical professional and the public,as well as scientific medicine,social and culture forces.
