摘 要:资源拼凑是降低资源冗余、提升组织效率的重要创新方法,但其在不同管理情境下的驱动因素和效能情况在既有研究中存在显著差异,亟待深入考察。基于组织适应和战略选择视角,运用大样本实证研究方法考察多情境下企业管理者进行资源拼凑的驱动因素、绩效结果和边界条件。对269个民营企业进行调查研究的结果显示,在外部情境方面,技术动荡的增加驱使管理者进行资源拼凑,但技术动荡对资源拼凑与企业绩效的关系无显著调节影响;竞争强度的增加迫使管理者进行资源拼凑,然而,竞争强度越大,资源拼凑与企业绩效的关系越弱。在内部情境方面,组织冗余越多,管理者通过拼凑提高资源效率的动机越强,且产生的企业绩效越好;制度资本对资源拼凑无驱动效应,但对资源拼凑与企业绩效的关系存在显著负向调节影响。研究结果提示管理者应进行主动拼凑以盘活僵化资源,但要避免因环境压力进行被动拼凑或调动非市场资源进行拼凑。Resource bricolage is an important innovative method to reduce resource redundancy and improve organizational efficiency.However,there are significant differences in the driving factors and effectiveness of resource bricolage under different management situations in existing studies,which requires further investigation.Based on the perspectives of organizational adaptation and strategic choice,this paper uses a large sample empirical research method to investigate the driving factors,performance results and boundary conditions of managers’resource bricolage in multiple contexts.269 firm level questionnaires were collected,and statistical tests showed that,In terms of external context,when technical uncertainty increases,managers were more likely to use resource bricolage,but no significant performance enhancement was found;competitive intensity was a driver to resource bricolage,however,it also played as a negative moderator on the link between resource bricolage and performance.In terms of internal context,organizational slack has a positive effect to resource bricolage,as well as a positive moderating effect to resource bricolage-performance relationship;institutional capital is not a driver to resource bricolage,however,it has a significant negative moderating effect on resource bricolage result.Overall,these findings indicate that resource bricolage is an effective recipe to managers to revive frozen slack resource,however,if bricolage takes place with resource lacking and non-market institutional capital,it has much less contribution to firm performance.
