论“现象史学”的科学属性与人文属性

摘　　要：“现象史学”是在反思当前历史学人文关怀不足、传统政治史学难以发挥资治功能、后现代主义冲击客观历史的还原等深层史学问题的基础上,汲取文化史学的养分而探索出的一条史学科学化道路。它试图在文化整体观的视野下,运用文化要素分析法和科学归纳法考察历史现象特别是影响至今的历史现象之文化结构,进而探索历史规律,形成中层理论与中层理论群。现象史学不仅有力地回应了后现代主义对还原客观历史的质疑,而且赋予历史学注重内涵式发展和转向公共阐释的科学品质。它虽然具有强烈的人文关怀取向,但由于专业性较强,所以既不拒斥也不刻意谋求研究成果的公众化,而是致力于为当下社会提出基于历史学优势的专业方案,使历史学发展成为一门具有“利他”属性的社会治理学科。科学属性与人文属性是现象史学之双翼,这既是它在史学价值链上的自我定位,也是在当前中国国家治理体系和治理能力现代化征程中的时代定位。“Phenomenal history”is a scientific way of studying history based on the reflection of the problems such as the difficulty of realizing humanistic concern in current historical study,the failure of traditional political history in aiding the governance,and the impact of postmodernism on the restoration of objective history.It tries to apply the analysis of cultural elements and scientific induction to investigate the cultural structure of historical phenomena,especially those with lasting influence,and then explore the historical laws and form the middle-level theory and middle-level theoretical group.Phenomenological history not only responds strongly to the query of postmodernism on the restoration of objective history,but also endows history with the scientific quality of emphasizing connotative development and public interpretation.Although it is oriented to humanistic concern,it neither rejects nor deliberately seeks the publicity of research result,but committed to providing professional advice for present social governance out of history study,which makes history develop into a subject for social governance with the attribute of“altruism”.Scientific and humanistic attributes,being the two wings of phenomenological history,can not only define itself in the value chain of historiography,but also win a place in the modernization of China’s national governance system and governance capacity.
