Forest Management Inventory in China:History, Current Status and Trend

摘  要:自20世纪50年代初以来,中国森林资源规划设计调查经历了目测调查(踏查)、航空目测调查、以小班为基础的抽样调查、以地形图为基础的小班调查和以高分辨率卫星遥感图像为基础的小班调查5个主要技术发展阶段。文中介绍各阶段森林资源调查的主要调查内容、技术方法和手段,其中小班调查内容和林分调查因子测量方法自20世纪80年代中期以来基本稳定,但小班区划和数据处理方法随着遥感和计算机技术的进步得到了较大发展;综述了2017年以来以机载激光雷达和高分遥感为核心技术的大区域森林资源调查技术进展,并展望了超高分辨率卫星遥感图像、无人机、地基激光雷达等新技术在森林资源调查中的应用前景。Since the early 1950 s, China’s forest management inventory(FMI) has experienced five main technical development stages, i.e., visual survey(reconnoitering), aerial visual survey, subcompartment-based sampling investigation, topographic map based subcompartment investigation and high-resolution satellite remote sensing images based subcompartment investigation. This paper introduces the main investigation contents, technical methods and means of FMI in the 5 different stages. The major measurement methods for subcompartment investigation contents and stand description factor have basically remained no change since the mid-1980 s, while the subcompartment delineation methods and data processing methods have developed greatly with the progress of remote sensing technology and computer technology. The paper summarizes the technology progress in large-scale FMI which adopts the technologies like airborne LiDAR and very highresolution remote sensing since 2017. At the end, the applications of new technologies such as ultra-high resolution satellite remote sensing, unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) and terrestrial LiDAR to the FMI are prospected.
