摘 要:焦虑是影响英语听力水平的重要情感变量之一。为有效缓解新生听力焦虑的问题,以动态系统理论为理论依据,选取700名不同高校大一新生为研究对象,运用问卷调查法和访谈法从三个不同维度,即环境因素、语言因素和学习者因素,对其听力焦虑程度展开调查。结果表明:考场环境、英汉语言差异、学习者自信心不足、听力策略缺失等因素会导致听力焦虑。鉴于此,未来可以从精选语言材料、夯实语言基础、提供听力策略指导等方面提升新生听力水平,缓解其听力焦虑。Anxiety is one of the important emotional variables affecting English listening level.In order to relieve freshmen’s listening anxiety effectively,based on dynamic systems theory,700 freshmen from different universities are selected as the research subjects.The methods of the questionnaire and interview are used to investigate the degree of listening anxiety from three different dimensions,namely environmental factor,language factor and learner factor.It is found that the environment of the examination room,the differences between English and Chinese languages,the lack of the learner’s confidence,and the lack of listening strategies lead to listening anxiety.In view of this,the measures as selecting appropriate language materials,enhancing their solid language foundation and providing listening strategy guidance are suggested to be taken to improve freshmen’s listening level and relieve their listening anxiety.
