摘 要:新时代和2018年版《普通高等学校本科专业教学质量国家标准》对外语专业人才培养提出了新要求,英语专业文学课程不应该仅仅局限于文学知识教学,而应该注重文学能力培养,强调多维能力指向,促进学生的文学鉴赏能力和批评能力、思辨能力、跨文化能力、价值判断能力的形成和提高。这既是时代和新国家标准的要求,也是文学课程本身能够胜任的使命。本文认为,应该以多维能力为指向,从课程与课程体系、教学方法与模式、教材和资源建设等方面全面推动文学教学改革,充分发挥文学课程在英语专业学生多维能力培养中的作用。China’s New Era and the 2018 The National Standards of Teaching Quality for Undergraduate Majors in Higher Education Institutions have laid down new requirements for talent cultivation of undergraduate foreign language and literature majors. Accordingly, the literature courses for undergraduate English majors are expected, and competent too, to go beyond teaching literary knowledge and to target at cultivating students’ multiple competencies, including competencies in literary appreciation and criticism, critical thinking, and value-judgement, and cross-cultural competency as well. This paper believes that a curriculum reform based on the multi-competency orientation can be carried out in 3 aspects—curriculum reconstruction, teaching methodology and modes, and textbook-and databank-construction—so as to enhance the quality and functions of literature courses for undergraduate English majors.
