摘　　要：《中华农学会报》1918年12月创办,1948年11月停刊,坚持刊行30年,是民国时期办刊时间最长和最具有代表性的农业科技期刊,在中国传统农学向现代农学转型的过程中发挥了媒介引领作用。它是中国近代农业科技发展的重要记录者,各农学分支学科的发展演变可以从中找到依据;它代表当时中国农学期刊的最高水平,成为西方先进农业科技引进的重要桥梁及对外介绍中国农业的窗口;它及时刊载中外农学研究成果,不但为农业科技工作者提供知识营养,而且为其科研创新及学术成长创造了条件;它介绍农业新品种和实用技术,推销农用物资及农业书刊,有利于现代农业科技的普及推广。Journal of the Agricultural Association of China,which was founded in December 1918 and ceased publication in November 1948,had been published for 30 years in history.It was an agricultural sci-tech journal with the longest history and the most representative nature in the period of Republic of China.As an important media,it played a leading role in the process that the traditional Chinese agronomy was transformed to modern agronomy.The journal was an important recorder of the development of agricultural science and technology in modern China.The development and evolution of various agricultural branches can be found from it.Representing the highest level of Chinese agricultural journals at that time,Journal of the Agricultural Association of China had become an important bridge for the introduction of the advanced western agricultural technology and a window for introducing Chinese agriculture to the outside world.It published the articles of Chinese and foreign agricultural researchers timely,which not only provided knowledge for readers and agronomists,but also created conditions for scientific research innovation and academic growth through the publication and exchange of results.The journal introduced a large number of new agricultural varieties and practical technologies,and promoted agricultural materials and agricultural books,which is conducive to the popularization of modern agricultural science and technology.
