摘　　要：荀子是中国思想文化史上第一位正式以“雅”来评价人物品行操守并进行人格分类的思想家。荀子的“雅”范畴,是建立在其心性论、义利观、公私观、天人观等哲学理论基础之上的,包含隆礼义、有正义、轻外物、积文学、一表里等五重内涵,因而具有一种强烈的理性精神,对后世国人的文化价值取向与理想人格塑造产生了重大影响。在全面复兴、大力弘扬中国优秀传统文化的今天,荀子“雅”范畴作为一种人格论具有十分重要的研究价值与现实意义。Master Xun is the first thinker,who formally evaluates human's morality and classifies personalities by"Ya",in the history of Chinese ideology and culture.Master Xun's category of"Ya"is based on his philosophy and theory of disposition,justice and benefit,public and private,heaven and human.The category of"Ya"has five contents as prospering etiquettes,sense of justice,careless of the outer world,accumulation of literature,inside equals outside.Therefore,it has a strong rational spirit and has a significant impact on the cultural value orientation and ideal personality shaping of later generations.In today's comprehensive rejuvenation and vigorously promotion of Chinese excellent traditional culture,the category of Master Xun's"Ya",as a kind of personality theory,has particularly important research value and practical significance.
