高职英语职业提升拓展课程的构建与实践

摘　　要：培养能够在职场中运用英语进行有效沟通的高素质技术技能人才,以适应经济全球化新形势,提高行业国际竞争力。通过分析目前高职院校英语后续拓展课程的现状以及行业需求和学生个人需求等方面,探讨高职英语拓展课程的发展方向。从广东食品药品职业学院实施的职业英语教学改革实践经验以及《高等职业学校英语课程标准》(征求意见稿)中收获许多有益启示。高职英语课程在完成基础模块英语教学后,应继续开设提升阶段的后续拓展课程教学,并且拓展课程应按照学生的不同专业、水平和兴趣等实际情况开设(职业+学业+素养),形成可供学生自主选择的多元化选修课程体系。其中"职业提升"拓展课程的开设尤为重要,既要符合高职英语教师转型的需要,又应满足各专业学生的职业需求。In order to adapt to the new situation of economic globalization and improve the international competitiveness of the industry,we should cultivate high-quality technical talents who can communicate effectively in English in the workplace.Through the analysis of the current situation of English follow-up development course in higher vocational colleges,as well as the needs of the industry and students’ personal needs,this paper discusses the development direction of English follow-up development course in higher vocational colleges.From the practical experience of vocational English teaching reform implemented by Guangdong Food and Drug Vocational College and the "English curriculum standards for higher vocational schools"(Draft for comments),we can gain a lot of useful enlightenment.After the completion of the basic module of English teaching,higher vocational English courses should continue to set up the follow-up expansion course teaching in the promotion stage,and the expansion course should be set up according to the actual situation of students’ different majors,levels and interests(occupation+academic+literacy),so as to form a diversified elective course system for students to choose independently.Among them,the opening of "career promotion" expansion course is particularly important,which should not only meet the needs of the transformation of higher vocational English teachers,but also meet the professional needs of students.
